Gutter Clearing

Gutter clearing is an important aspect of your homes maintenance and upkeep. If left unchecked gutters and down pipes can become blocked with leaves, moss and other debris. This can stop the free flow of rain water through the gutters and down pipes which can lead to leaks and overspills and eventually can cause damp problems in your house. 

We recommend gutters should be cleared at least once a year. The best time of year to undertake this would be late autumn so that guttering and downpipes are clear for the onset of winter.

AJB Window Cleaners can clear gutters up to the height of 50 feet. This is done by using  a gutter vac system. This is a powerful vacuum system with a telescopic tube system which reaches into the gutters and sucks out packed leaves, moss and debris etc. This leaves gutters and downpipes clear for the free flow of rainwater. This method also utilises a CCTV camera mounted onto the pole system to survey and view the gutters before and after the cleaning process.

This gives us the ability to view which parts of the guttering need clearing and to show the customer that the job has been completed satisfactorily. This method of gutter clearing enables us to carry out the work from the safety of the ground. We recommend that once the gutters have been cleared they are cleaned along with the UPVC fascia’s and soffits.
